Children beginner ski courses

The ski lessons start with walking on the skis. Finally our young champions have to learn how they can get to the meeting point of the lift.

Pretty soon the conveyor belt (magic carpet) will be used. The magic carpet is a ascent support which should not be underestimated, not only because the children get up the hill without the help of the ski instructors but also because it saves the endurance of the children.

In the beginning, it often seems that our youngest skiers only make little progresses.
You will be surprised after a few days. Suddenly you will find your kids at the lift!

Children advanced ski courses

Sunday morning 09:30 AM. An exciting day for our young ski school visitors. For most children, the "driving in front" is a difficult matter. The first time back on the skis and immediately go down the slope is not an easy task !

The "driving in front" determines essentially only the beginning skill of the child. In some cases the group coordination may be changed. The true ability of the childs turns out after some time.

At the first day, the ski & snowboard school Lofer is trying to create a good group dynamic.
This is necessary for further learning.

Depending on the group level, the skills of individual children can be expanded.
At the forenoon we usually start with the technique program, the afternoon is used for the stabilization and of course a lot of fun!

We use following available tools:

Lofino ski-cross:

A kind of obstacle course with built in-waves and steep turns
The ski cross is used to improve the following skills:

• agility, balance and coordination
• terrain exploit and assess
• speed control in varied terrain

Ropes:

A visible self-control while skiing to solve existing problems in a playful way.

Snowsails:

This "parachute" helps with its braking effect at position troubles and allows the children to drive on steeper slopes.
